IIDA + KI Present: Community as Strategy

In 2019, KI and IIDA embarked on a six-city tour to discuss “community as strategy”—a movement within architecture and design emphasizing the need to create environments that meaningfully reflect and support how people live, work, and play. Each panel discussion brought together academics, architects, designers, and urban planners from across the country to share their insights on the ways that design can foster community and connection, culminating in the Community as Strategy Report.
